Leather working in Clay, Process Exploration With Sarah Catherine Gromek

Join us on July 25th as we welcome Sarah Catherine Gromek to share her delightful secrets with us! The workshop will begin at 10 AM and run until 5pm. We will have a one hour lunch break.

In this hands-on workshop, students will create a ceramic mug or cup that mimics the look and feel of leather. Using hand-building techniques and leather-working tools, participants will learn to shape and texture clay. The focus will be on treating the clay like leather, while emphasizing form, functionality, and craftsmanship. Perfect for all skill levels, this workshop encourages creative exploration of texture and materials.
